From local farmer's markets, we'll eat mostly local foods.

Let's enjoy Tomato Crumble, Spinach with Lemon and Feta, a Butternut Puree, a Hungarian Stew, a selection of local breads, a tray of local cheeses with local fruit, and the meat course will depend on what I find -- maybe a French Pork Stew. I'll offer cider for a beverage as well as some Ohio wine. We'll finish with a fruit dessert and coffee/tea.

MM11 Que Syrah Shiraz (A Wine Tasting This Will Be...)
Invalid Image LinkSold

This year's tasting will focus on wines made from the Syrah grape, also known as Shiraz. Marc and Edgel will lead us on an exploration of six wines made from Syrah/Shiraz grapes from around the globe, from the old world tradition of the Cote de Rhone, to the big bold new world Australian shiraz and then to California where they make whatever they feel like. The tasting will be held at the Pinsonneaults' home in Clintonville, where the wines will be accompanied by scrumptious, mouthwatering appetizers. The size of the winning bids will determine the quality of the wine that is served, so winners will most definitely get their money's worth!
