MM19 Beer Tasting and German Dinner

Humor writer Dave Barry once wrote, "All other nations are drinking Ray Charles Beer and we are drinking Barry Manilow." Fortunately the increased popularity of microbrews over the past 20+ years has vastly improved the domestic beer selection. Join us for beer, food and fellowship on our patio. We will sample a potpourri of quality beers, both imports and American microbrews. We'll gather around 5 pm for appetizers to be followed by German-style food and desert. All courses will be accompanied by beer.

MM21 Authentic Moroccan Dinner

This dinner, featuring all authentic Moroccan recipes, will include appetizers of kefta kebabs, roasted spiced chickpeas, a variety of cured olives and a lemon and orange flower water drink. First course will include a variety of vegetable salads and Moroccan bread with aniseeds and hirissa sauce. Second course will be a choice of lamb tagine. For dessert, you'll have some Moroccan confections with pistachio ice cream and broiled mango and after dessert, you'll have gunpowder green tea with mint and sugar. Since not all Moroccans drink alcohol, alcohol will not be offered, but you're welcomed to bring your own. However, I can share my collection of after-dinner liquors with you. If you are interested, I will show my pictures of Morocco. My condo in North Columbus, 7 pm.
