MM13 Ad Hoc at Home

Thomas Keller, the celebrated American chef, opened his Ad Hoc restaurant as a temporary, almost experimental, restaurant serving one 4-course meal daily in a family-style setting. Keller's French-inspired "new" American cuisine has now been captured in his "Ad Hoc at Home" cookbook. Using these recipes, Barb and Edgel will serve a 4-course meal of Thomas Keller's serious yet friendly food, which is sure to satisfy even the most experienced food lover. Wines will be appropriately paired to the course selections.

MM15 Crazy Pizza Night

It's time to celebrate getting our taxes finished (or NOT). This dinner will really be a pizza-making event where we stand around in my kitchen drinking wine and we invent pizzas. Maybe someone will bid on this who can provide piano accompaniment for the cooks! I will provide the ingredients and we'll vote on combinations for each of several gourmet pizzas. Of course all good things take time. I will put you to work rolling out dough and assembling (I only have one pizza stone), and we'll argue over who gets the anchovies (YES), and we'll create something divine. It promises to be a rather long evening. Maybe we'll try tossing the dough if you promise not to get it on the ceiling.
