C22 Virtual Jackbox Games Night
Invalid Image Link

Was game night a staple at your home before the pandemic? Did friends gather and laugh well into the evening? It’s true things might be a little different these days, but the gaming continues. Let Don Jones facilitate a virtual game night for you!

What you get: Choose from 35 different games from the Jackbox Party Packs 1-7 for you and 7 of your friends and family. Most games support up to 8 players at a time! Games include: You Don't Know Jack, Fibbage, Drawful, Word Spud, Lie Swatter, Earwax, Bidiots, Quiplash, Bomb Corp., Trivia Murder Party, Guesspionage, Tee K.O., Fakin' It, Survive the Internet, Monster Seeking Monster, Bracketeering, Civic Doodle, Split the Room, Mad Verse City, Patently Stupid, Zeeple Dome, Role Models, Joke Boat, Dictionaries, Push the Button and more!

Don will handle all the technical work behind the scenes - he’s your Pat Sajak for the evening, your personal Genius Bar - as you bring the laughter back into your home (and across the distance), sharing a fun-filled evening with friends, remembering shared past experiences and reveling in the joy that an evening with close friends (old and new) can bring.

Each player will need access to a device to log into and view Zoom, such as a desktop or laptop, and a mobile device to use as a controller for the games (using the same device for both doesn't work really well in this case). We'll send a poll before the game night to pick people's favorite games.

C42 Guided Firefly Hike
Invalid Image Link

You see a few fireflies here and there on any summer night but the vast majority of firefly flashes are concentrated for about a week's time in mid-June. It's firefly mating season and there is an EXPLOSION of firefly light. The musical accompaniment is provided by hundreds of male Gray Tree Frogs on the make. The firefly talk starts at around 9:30 pm and we walk between 10 and 10:30 pm. Location: TO BE DETERMINED (depending on conditions). Last year we walked in the Tallgrass Prairie at Whetstone Park of Roses but traditionally, we meet in the parking lot at the Wilma Schiermeier, Olentangy River Wetland Research Park, 352 W. Dodridge Street, Columbus, OH and walk the less than one-mile loop. It is not uncommon to see raccoons, bats, and sometimes owls. Flashlights are discouraged but red lights are fine. We can provide red lights for about 10 people and bug spray. Social distancing and masks.
