S6 Qigong for Relaxation

Relax! Combine breathing, energy movement, and visualization. Brief introduction to qigong, preparatory exercises, guided visualization. Prior experience helpful, but not needed.
Wear loose-fitting clothes. Bring a pad to lie on, a small pillow (bean-bag best) to support your neck and head, a towel to support the backs of your knees, and a blanket. Eat lightly prior to session. Session (about an hour) will be held (NEXT WEEK) on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 10 am (prompt) at UU Church in Room 7. If anyone would like to gift at least five friends (max ten friends) and hold the event at their house, I would be happy to do additional session, subject to scheduling.

MM21 Authentic Moroccan Dinner

This dinner, featuring all authentic Moroccan recipes, will include appetizers of kefta kebabs, roasted spiced chickpeas, a variety of cured olives and a lemon and orange flower water drink. First course will include a variety of vegetable salads and Moroccan bread with aniseeds and hirissa sauce. Second course will be a choice of lamb tagine. For dessert, you'll have some Moroccan confections with pistachio ice cream and broiled mango and after dessert, you'll have gunpowder green tea with mint and sugar. Since not all Moroccans drink alcohol, alcohol will not be offered, but you're welcomed to bring your own. However, I can share my collection of after-dinner liquors with you. If you are interested, I will show my pictures of Morocco. My condo in North Columbus, 7 pm.
