A tour of my woodland garden will precede a homemade vegetarian brunch served on our screened-in porch. The meal will include brunch cocktails, juice, coffee or tea; 3 cheese quiches with leeks and sundried tomatoes; and sides of salad and roasted potatoes. We will finish with a light dessert. Everything will be delicious and homemade. Come and enjoy a beautiful vista and wonderful food with UU friends!

Bordeaux Wines and Supper
Margaux? St. Émilion? Pomerol? Grave? With slides from our recent trip as a backdrop, John will share his practical knowledge of how to buy good Bordeaux wines on a budget, with a tasting of three reds and a white. Then we will have an informal supper where we will pair those wines with small-plate tastings of the cuisine of southwestern France (lamb in bordelaise sauce? mussels? roasted vegetables? cheeses? pastries?) We will discuss food preferences with our guests ahead of time, and there will be a handout with information including decanting, the point system, storage, mail order purchase, and experiences with local Columbus wine stores.
