Find collaging images and share your interests, passions, goals, aspirations....
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Relax in our living room, flip through magazines, cut out whatever speaks to you and take the images home with you to create your collage. Towards the end of the evening, share any images and the reasons you were drawn to them...but it's ok not to share, too. For those interested, we will share photos of our finished collages by email once we've created them at home.

Enjoy wine, non-alcoholic beverages (we have a favorite lemon ginger drink to share), and savory after dinner snacks or bring alternative beverages or sweets.

Magazines will be provided. You're welcome to bring more. Also, if you like to sketch, feel free to bring a sketch pad and some pencils. Here's an interesting article on the mental health benefits of creating magazine collages.

Get In Your Body: 4-week series of movement classes This is a continuation of the "Get in Your Body" class from this summer's All-Church Retreat.

Shake it out, shake it up, dance, move, laugh, and connect. As UUs we love to THINK deeply, but how often do we FEEL and EXPERIENCE the 7 principles in our bodies? This is your chance!

Come ready to move, play, release, and deepen your connection to yourself and others. I'll guide you through a gentle warmup, followed by a series of structured dance and movement activities that will invite you to move authentically as you are. It'll be a combination of group movement games, super-simple choreography, and good old fashioned movin' to the music. No prior dance experience necessary. Suitable for all ages and bodies. Please wear comfortable loose-fitting or stretchy clothing.

Come play Code Names with us – our latest favorite board game! Two rival spymasters know the secret identities of 25 agents. Their teammates know the agents only by their CODENAMES. Two teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first while also avoiding the assassin.

Codenames: Win or lose, it's fun to figure out the clues. Code Names was selected as the UK Best Party Game for 2016.

Come find out why! It is easy to learn yet stretches your brain and involves strategy, as well as a little luck. We’ll serve snacks and beverages. Good for ages 14+.

Bike to Winery Double-Date

Grab your bike and your sweetheart for the best date you’ll have all year! Riding bikes is a great way to re-energize the body, spirit, and sense of connection with the people and places involved in the ride. We will pedal through Boulder’s elegant historic district on quiet streets before escaping the city on a paved, then smooth dirt path along the foothills, enjoying sweeping views of Boulder, the Flatirons and beyond. Finally, we celebrate our courage to try something new with generous complimentary samples of some tongue-tantalizing wines and sangrias in a venue that is both cozy and avant garde. Plus, riders get 50% off a bottle as long as you can carry it home (so bring a backpack!). Maximum 3 couples. Please bring water, your wallet, and your own bike and helmet (or we can provide you a bike/helmet for an additional $25). A bike with treaded tires is preferred, but even a road bike will do as long as long as it's in good working order. Check out www.beyondboulderadventures.com for your next company teambuilding day!

A Winter’s Walk and a Warming Brunch Come to south Boulder for a wonderful winter’s walk followed by a warming brunch. We’ll meet at our house, then walk to the nearby Blue Stem Trail. It’s an easy hike and the trail gets a lot of sun, about 4 miles with some rocky terrain. If weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll walk on sidewalk trails overlooking open space.

Either way the views are great and you’ll work up an appetite for candied ginger cream scones, cinnamon monkey bread, a mild green chili and cheese strata, spiral-sliced ham, hot apple cider, roasted sweet potatoes, fruits, coffee and juice. Special dietary needs, not a problem, just let us know.

If the weather really doesn’t cooperate, we’ll stay in and watch Antarctica: A Year on Ice. Not a hiker? Join us for the brunch only.

Fondu and Flames!

We'll have a relaxed, but elegant evening of cheese raclette appetizer, Fondu main course, and flaming "Bananas Foster" for dessert. Wine and beverages provided. This was very popular last year. It's a real bargain! We did not increase our price, but feel free to pay more. Great buy for the weekend before Valentine's Day...and no crowds. 10 50 0 000050.0 50 .0003E7 30 2/10/18 6:00 PM
